Alphabet Paper Tape

Although I do like to make my own sometimes, my mom recently bought me the cutest set of paper tapes that have a variety of alphabets printed on them.  I love using letters and text in my backgrounds and applying paper tape is so simple that I tend to get a little over-zealous with it.  :)  Not that that's a bad thing.  The pages above are not yet finished, but you can see some of the layers that I use to build up my spreads:  bubble wrap, paper tape, electrical tape, rubber stamps, and acrylic paints.  The image of the boy and girl come from an old picture flash card used for teaching reading.  The guy reminds me of Fred from Scooby-Doo.  Very 70's.  I'm not sure how these pages will evolve, but I will continue to revisit them and "tweak" them as ideas develop.
