Just Be Quiet....I Mean That in a Nice Way

Most of us today are constantly surrounding, or should I say, bombarding ourselves with stimuli. Radio, tv, cell phones, internet...all of these technologies add NOISE to our lives. It feels so refreshing every now and then to "unplug" and just BE. Forget about that sitcom. Ignore your email inbox for an evening and simply sit quietly for at least 10 minutes. We don't allow ourselves enough of this restorative quiet time. We need it. We crave it even if we don't know it. Ten minutes each evening could lead to hours of a peaceful day.
