Hands to Earth...Work in Progress

This is a detail from a painting I started several months ago. I'm at that point in the creative process where I just don't know where to go with it. It is a mixed media piece incorporating acrylics, texture medium, and collaged images. I have it in a conspicuous spot in the studio where I am forced face it and contemplate it and, for now, that's what I'll keep doing until "it" hits me! Whatever "it" may be.
