A Few New Pages...

The weather has been just right for working in my studio. No heat or A/C required. So I've been spending some quality time up there. Here are a few of the latest pages. The pink glittered circles on the "Muse-ic" pages were made in a really fun way. I can't recall where I read about it, but you squeeze a couple of acrylic paint colors onto a piece of wax paper and scrape them out into a thick layer, mixing the colors as you go. While the paint is wet you can sprinkle glitter onto it or add other texturizing materials (sand?). Allow it to dry completely--overnight would be best, then carefully peel off the layer of paint from the wax paper. It's awesome...like a layer of flexible plastic paper! Try it!!! I used a circle punch to cut out the circle shapes shown above.
