I created these pages for my Altered Book Swap which is quickly approaching its end. Hard to believe it's already been 6 months since we started. I decided to go "old-school" on these pages, using only permanent markers to create them. Mayan glyphs have always been fascinating to me. I love their organic nature and the way in which the elements can link and interplay with each other. The blank space in the center of the spread was intentionally left for the book's owner to add her own elements...if she so desires.
