Pages From My Latest Book Swap

These are just a few pages from the last altered book swap that I hosted.  We had 18 fabulously talented artists participate this time around--each with their own distinct style.  At the end of the swap I hosted an little get-together for the artists to come together and meet each other and see all of the finished books.  It was a valuable experience being able to ask each other how the pages were created and to learn new techniques from each other!

Awesome stitched paper technique!

Lovely ladies...

Inspired by an unfortunate incident...mother nature dropped a tree branch on this artist's house during a bad storm!

Bluebird football fan?  :)

Real watch parts attached to this spread.

We had several "Alice" inspired pages in the swap.

Surf-inspired collage

Vintage flair with a beaded applique

This artist's background is created from the lining of business envelopes (the security kind that bills come in) cut into squares.

My mom's cute Charlie Chaplin page!

It's elementary, dear Watson...

Whoo doesn't love an owl with life insurance?
