I have a studio! Well, sort of...

I know, I know...it's not much to look at right now, but you know what?  I don't even care.  After almost 8 months without a studio I am so grateful to have a creative space again.  My husband and I took advantage of our little girl's long naptime today and reorganized the garage.  We both have come to the realization that we have too much stuff.  You don't recognize just how much stuff you have until you have to move it from state to state and unpack it.  Our old house in VA had a two and a half car garage, my studio above it, and almost a full basement.  Here we have......well...... the shed.  Thankfully it's a pretty big one, but it was still a challenge to get everything in.  I am looking forward to many happy hours organizing my supplies and setting things up the way I like and then, finally, CREATING AGAIN!!!

View from the doorway.  I'm going to need lots of lighting as there's only the one small window right now.  During the daytime I can work with the door open. I may get a few lizards popping in now and then, but they don't bother me.

Great shelf for displaying work.

Supplies awaiting their new homes.

And more supplies!

We are so happy for you honey 😃. That is a lot of work and you did a great job...it is going to be an awesome studio. I will come down and knock a few openings in there for you to have all the light you need. Baby can play with lizards while you create 😉😘. Have fun!!!

There were lizard eggs on the window sill! I've never seen one before today. :) Can't wait to have you in the studio creating with me again!
