Beeswax piece...evolving

This is the piece that I started working on weeks ago with beeswax.  It needed more but I just didn't know what to do.  I had downloaded a digital copy of an Encaustic Workshop DVD from Cloth Paper Scissors a while back and decided to watch it again in the hopes that it may give me some ideas.  It worked!  I saw the artist in the video using stamps and ink on her wax layers!  So...I grabbed my black Staz-On pad and some "glyph-ish" stamps and went to town.  How would I add color, though?  It would be very hard to try and squish oil pastels into all the little spaces and the markers I have are all water-based (I think.)  I decided to try painting on alcohol inks with teeny little brushes.  It worked!  Here are some pics of the piece as I worked at it...

Wow that is an amazing piece. I love what you did with the Staz on and alcohol ink...genius! Can't wait to try my own.. You always inspire me.
