Join me for a day of nature-connection and creative expression!

FOREST BATHING + ART JOURNALING  =  SELF CARE & SELF EXPRESSION!

We'll spend the morning slowly and mindfully engaged in a guided Forest Bathing (Shinrin Yoku) experience.  This practice is designed to help us slow down and reconnect with our natural surroundings through sensory exploration.  Sounds, smells, and textures will be our guides as we take a much needed respite from "the real world" and its demands and sink deep into the nurturing and welcoming arms of the Earth.

In the afternoon, we'll carry the experiences we shared out in nature into the art studio where we'll create pages in a journal, sketchbook or altered book of your choice that you have brought with you.  All other materials and supplies will be provided.    We'll explore some of the feelings and stories that our Forest Bathing experience has brought up for us while we create uniquely personal page spreads using creative writing prompts and image-making techniques.  Collage papers, stamps, stencils, stickers, and inks are just a few of the materials we'll use.

*Please bring a lunch from home for our mid-day break.  A microwave, mini-fridge a nd Keurig are available on site.  Waters will be provided as well.

Saturday, February 11th.  10am- 5pm

Registration fee for this day-long workshop is $95 per person.

Class size is limited to 15 participants.
